The Spark Keepers
Move It Forward.

What if one small move could create a ripple?
Sometimes keeping a spark alive takes very little.
A song. A dance. A story. A moment of play. Someone believing in an idea. Someone helping make it possible.
The Spark Keepers Ripple Effect is our way of helping small sparks move forward, one project, one community and one act of possibility at a time.
The Spark Keepers need Spark Keepers. And we know that our sparks were never meant to be kept only for ourselves.
When someone chooses joy, creates something, shares a gift, follows an idea or helps another person remember what brings them joy, something moves.
And sometimes that movement travels much further than we ever get to see.
Part of the vision of Spark Keepers is not only to help people keep their own sparks alive, but to help create the conditions for more sparks to stay alive in the world.
The Ripple Effect is one small way we are beginning.

Connected to this month's experience: Move the Spark.A ripple in motion ✨
During Viva 50 in Tortuguero, Costa Rica, we danced Gaia Namaskar with the children of the local school — a beautiful reminder of what can happen when movement, connection and play are shared.
Gaia Namaskar is a prayer in motion, created by Dr. Jinju Dasalla of the Naiasa Institute. Before we danced together, we sat with the children and asked: If your movements could carry a prayer or intention into the world, who or what would you dance for?
Their answers included: the polar bears, jaguars, blue whales, my little sister, my parents, my grandfather, Puerto Rico, my aunt.
And then we danced. ❤️
This month, we're asking a very simple question: When was the last time you danced?
And this first Ripple began with a dance.
We had the opportunity to spend time with the children and teachers of a small school in Tortuguero, Costa Rica. We danced together. We moved. We played.
And we saw the sparks in the children's eyes. We saw them in their teachers too.
The school has very limited resources for playing music and creating more opportunities for movement, dance and play. So this month, we want to help change that.
Contributions to this month's Ripple Effect will help provide music and sound equipment for the school, giving children and their teachers more opportunities to bring music, movement, dance and play into their everyday school life.
This is not about changing everything. It is about making one small thing possible that wasn't possible before.
And then seeing where the ripple goes.

There is no required amount.
Give what feels right.
Every contribution becomes part of this month's ripple.
Every contribution, whatever the size, becomes part of the ripple.
Every month, Spark Keepers explores a different way of keeping our sparks alive. And whenever possible, we connect that exploration to something beyond ourselves.
This month we're exploring movement. So our ripple is helping create more opportunities for children and teachers to move, dance and play.
Another month may lead somewhere completely different.
As Spark Keepers grows, so will the ripples.
Discover this month's experienceSmall moves. Real people. Ripples we get to witness.
Our first ripple is still moving. When it's complete, we'll come back here and show you exactly what we created together.
Today it may be music in a small school.
Tomorrow it may be an artist bringing an idea to life, children planting something they will watch grow, a community gathering, a story being told or an experience we haven't even imagined yet.
We are starting small.
But that's the beautiful thing about ripples. They don't have to start big to travel far.
The Ripple Effect is one expression of the larger Spark Keepers vision.
Through our Village, gatherings and experiences, we are creating spaces where adults reconnect with connection, creativity and play, and where the sparks we nurture together can travel beyond us.
Because Spark Keepers need Spark Keepers too.
