Spark Keepers

Share the Spark

What if your story could help someone else become enchanted with theirs?

At Spark Keepers, we believe that seeing another person step forward with their story, their work, their dreams and the spark they carry helps us remember something about our own.

You are the story that can help someone else become enchanted with theirs.

And we want to help that story travel.

We see your spark

Spark Keepers is a growing community of people who believe in the power of keeping the spark alive: in ourselves, in one another and in the generations coming behind us.

We create spaces where people can reconnect with what gives them joy and makes them feel truly alive.

We do it through five simple doorways

Dance. Song. Story. Silence. Co-creation.

We explore them by creating the conditions that help us reignite our spark.

Nature · Connection · Creativity · Play

We are not the experts behind every doorway.

We build bridges to beautiful people, communities and organisations already doing incredible work to keep the spark alive in others.

We find each other. We create together. We shine the light on one another.

And together we Reignite more Sparks around the World.

When was the last time you felt enchanted by a story?

Particularly the story of your own life?

Story is one of our five doorways.

And from October 10 to November 7, our Spark Keepers Village will enter Share the Spark: our Month of Stories.

A month for looking at the stories that have shaped us.

The stories we’ve inherited.

The stories we’ve outgrown.

The stories we’re still writing.

And the stories we may finally be ready to share.

Because we know that witnessing someone else’s story can help us see our own life differently, and perhaps become a little more enchanted with the story of our own life.

Spark Keepers and DWC Magazine

This year, Spark Keepers began a beautiful collaboration with DWC Magazine to give some of those stories somewhere else to shine.

Every member of our Spark Keepers Village has the opportunity to be featured on a cover of the DWC Daily Conversations.

During Share the Spark, we will begin sharing those stories with the world.

But we don’t only want to shine the light on the people already inside our Village.

We’re looking for Spark Keepers around the world.

100 stories. 100,000 sparks.

Spark Keepers began, like many things do, with a conversation.

Adriana had set herself a rather audacious mission: reignite 100,000 sparks.

She shared it with Robyn and it became part of one of those early conversations between them: What if we joined our joy, our ideas and the things we each love creating, and create something together?

So when the opportunity appeared for them both to contribute to the 100th edition of DWC Magazine, there was something beautifully symbolic about saying yes.

Spark Keepers hadn’t officially launched yet.

But the spark was already moving.

And they both chose to write about joy.

Two stories. One little moment along the way to 100,000 sparks.

We see something in you

There are people all over the world doing things that keep sparks alive.

Creating. Teaching. Healing. Building. Playing. Questioning. Dreaming. Bringing people together. Choosing another way.

We come across people and think:

More people should know about this person.

So throughout Share the Spark we will also invite people from outside the Village whose stories, work or way of moving through the world have caught our attention.

Not because you need us to tell you that you’re extraordinary.

We already see your spark.

We simply want to help other people see it too.

More than a cover

Yes, there may be a magazine cover.

Yes, there may be an article and a space to invite people into your world.

But what we’re creating is more than that.

We are building a growing network of people living with joy and play, and who are Reigniting Sparks around the world.

When you Share the Spark with us, your story becomes part of something bigger: a space where we can discover one another’s work, make new connections, share each other’s stories and see what unexpected collaborations might grow.

DWC gives stories a beautiful place to be published.

Spark Keepers gives those stories people to travel with.

Together we are helping your story travel far enough to reach exactly the person who needs it.

ONE STORY. ONE MORE SPARK REIGNITED.

We are sharing our stories because we believe that through us, someone else might see something in themselves too.

A forgotten dream.

A different way forward.

A little more courage.

A spark of possibility.

Sometimes all it takes to reignite a spark is seeing someone else move theirs.

We believe that the more enchanted we become with the story of our own life, the more our story can help someone else become enchanted with theirs.

And that story can be yours.

Come closer

If you’ve arrived here because we personally invited you, there’s a reason.

We see your spark.

And we’d love to explore giving it another place to shine.

If you’ve discovered us another way and something here speaks to you, we’d love to hear from you too.

Reach out and tell us a little about yourself, the work you’re doing, and the story you feel ready to share.
